Fast Textile 2026: sourcing fabrics and trims at Poland’s textile fair near Łódź
On 17–19 November 2026 a 20,000 m² hall south of Łódź fills with mills, knitters, trim suppliers and machine makers. A buyer’s guide for designers, production managers and factories coming from abroad.
Every collection starts long before the first sample: with a swatch, a yarn, a zip that does not fail. Fast Textile is the fair built around that stage. Its 12th edition runs on 17–19 November 2026 at Ptak Expo in Rzgów, just south of Łódź, for more than a century the heart of Polish textile production. Unlike fairs for finished fashion, nothing here hangs on a rail ready to sell: the stands are full of fabrics, knits, trims, yarns and the machines and software that turn them into garments.
What is on showWhat can you source at Fast Textile?
The organiser divides the fair into eight sectors. The main ones are:
- Fabrics and knitted fabrics, the core of the fair, from basics to fashion qualities.
- Haberdashery and accessories: zips, buttons, labels, linings and the small parts that decide how a garment wears.
- Yarns for knitwear producers.
- Textile printing, embroidery and finishing services for decoration and branding.
- Textile machinery, technology and software for cutting rooms and sewing floors.
Fast Textile has run since 2014. The organiser speaks of several hundred exhibitors, with suppliers from Poland and many other countries. Running alongside it is the Global Textile Congress, a programme of talks that trade visitors can attend with the same ticket.
Who it suitsIs Fast Textile worth the trip from abroad?
The fair is aimed at companies involved in producing, buying and designing clothing and textiles. It pays off most for:
- Designers and brand owners who want to touch fabric before committing to a collection and compare suppliers side by side.
- Production and sourcing managers looking for a second source closer to the EU than the Far East, or for trims in smaller quantities.
- Sewing factories and cut-make-trim workshops that need materials, machines or software for their own floor.
- Fabric and trim wholesalers building their range for the coming seasons.
Sourcing checklistHow to work the fair in three days
- Bring your references. Swatches, tech packs or photos of the pieces you are sourcing for save a lot of explanation at the stand.
- Ask the same questions everywhere. Composition and weight, minimum order per colour, lead time, whether stock is held in the EU, and how quickly sample yardage can be sent.
- Collect, then decide. Ask for swatch cards and decide later at your desk, not in the aisle.
- Register in advance. Registered visitors get a QR-code ticket and skip the queue.
- Plan the journey. Most international flights land in Warsaw; from there the usual route is a train to Łódź and a taxi to Rzgów. Łódź airport is only a few kilometres from the venue. Book a hotel early: November fair week is busy.
Opening hours and entry rules are published on the official website, so check them before you travel. If November does not work, the organiser’s calendar also lists a spring edition, Fast Textile Fabrics, for 13–15 April 2027, and the next autumn edition for 16–18 November 2027.
Our atelierWhy fabric fairs matter to REPULO’S
At REPULO’S, founded by designer Kateryna Nechyporenko, every dress is sewn in our own atelier in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, so material choice is a decision we live with on the cutting table. The fall of our satin dresses (60% viscose, 40% polyester) or the weight of our velvet starts with exactly the kind of conversation you have at a fair like this. If you work with fabric, Fast Textile is worth a visit; if you simply love well-made clothes, our collections show where those conversations end.
