Silk satin is a weave with a signature subtle sheen on the face and a matte reverse. The secret to its elegance is the bias cut: fabric cut at 45° to the grain gains natural stretch, flows over the body and forms soft, feminine drapes without stiff creases. How to choose a silk satin dress for your figure
