If you make clothes and want to sell them in Poland, or you buy for shops and want to see what Central Europe produces, Trends Expo is one of the most direct routes in. It is an international B2B clothing trade fair held at Ptak Expo in Rzgów, just south of Łódź, the historic heart of the Polish textile industry. You will also see it written as Expo Trends, after its web address. The 2026 edition took place on 25–27 August, so this guide looks ahead: who the fair is for, how it works and what to prepare before the next edition.

The fair in briefWhat is Trends Expo?

Trends Expo is a trade fair for finished fashion: women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, lingerie, sportswear, footwear and accessories, plus the services that sit around selling them, such as packaging, logistics and e-commerce tools. Exhibitors show collections that are ready to order; visitors come to compare suppliers and place wholesale orders. The organiser, Ptak Expo, runs it alongside Sourcing Expo, a fair for production and private label, on the same dates and under one roof, and frames both with a congress programme that includes talks for online sellers (eButik Academy) and for people launching a label (Start-up Academy).

Last edition: 25–27 August 2026 (already held). Next edition: the organiser currently lists 7–9 September 2027; confirm on the official website. Venue: Ptak Expo, Ptak Wholesale Centre, ul. Tuszyńska 72/74, 95-030 Rzgów near Łódź. Format: B2B fair with free entry after online registration. Website: expotrends.eu (English version available).

Who it is forWho should exhibit, and who should visit?

The organiser describes the event as a B2B fair, and the visitor list reads like a map of fashion retail in the region:

  • Brands and manufacturers of clothing, lingerie, footwear and accessories who want to reach Polish and Central European retailers without building a sales network from scratch.
  • Boutique owners and buyers for chains, who can see a wide cross-section of the market in a few days and settle orders on the spot.
  • Wholesalers, distributors and purchasing agents who source for other markets.
  • Online and social sellers looking for stock, packaging and e-commerce partners, and for the eButik talks.

According to the organiser, the combined Trends Expo and Sourcing Expo drew 414 exhibitors and more than 8,500 visitors from 26 countries. It is a working fair rather than a catwalk show: expect order books, price lists and long conversations at the stand.

Exhibiting from abroadWhy foreign brands look at Łódź

The venue sits next to the Ptak Wholesale Centre, a wholesale complex that, by the organiser’s count, houses around 1,500 clothing companies with their own showrooms. For a foreign exhibitor this means the fair is surrounded by buyers who already come to the area to shop wholesale. For a buyer, it means you can combine the fair with visits to permanent showrooms in the same complex. Stands are booked through the organiser’s sales team, who send an individual quote; the exhibitor pages on expotrends.eu are the place to start.

Before the next editionHow to prepare for the next Trends Expo

  • Book early. Ask for a stand quote months ahead and keep an eye on the congress programme, which is announced on the official website.
  • Speak the buyer’s language. Polish retailers appreciate line sheets in Polish or at least English, clear size charts in EU sizing and realistic delivery windows.
  • Register online. Visitors get a free QR-code ticket after a short registration, which saves queueing on the day.
  • Plan the journey. The venue has its own exit from the A1 motorway and parking for thousands of cars. Łódź airport is a few kilometres away, but most international flights land in Warsaw, from where the usual route is a train to Łódź and a short taxi ride to Rzgów. Hotels near the centre fill up during fair weeks.

Opening hours, entry rules and registration for each edition are published only on the official website, so check them there before you travel.

Our viewREPULO’S and the Polish fashion market

REPULO’S is a Ukrainian occasion-wear label founded by designer Kateryna Nechyporenko and sewn in our own atelier in Vinnytsia. We know the road a foreign brand takes into Poland first-hand: today our dresses can be seen in our Warsaw salon (by appointment), in Lviv and Vinnytsia, and at the ÓDYAH concept store in Prague. Fairs like Trends Expo are where you see how Polish buyers think about cut, fabric and price positioning, and that is worth knowing even if you never book a stand.
